Royal Wedding Girl (or "Frowning Flower Girl" or "Royal Kiss Girl") is one of the nicknames for 3-year-old Grace Van Cutsem. She was seen pouting on the side as Prince William and Kate Middleton shared a kiss on the balcony of Buckingham Palace. She is the goddaughter of Prince William and was Kate Middleton's flower girl.
She was seen pouting off to the side as Prince William and Kate kissed on the balcony and she had her hands over her ears. The UK media says that she probably looked miserable because of all the commotion and applause around the palace.
Not long after being seen on tv, many people started tweeting things like "somebody on the balcony wasn't impressed with the royal kiss". The first Royal Wedding Girl tag was tweeted by Andrew Spearin, who photoshopped the girl into the bottom corner of Donald Trump giving a speech. Buzzfeed's Matt Stopera posted one of the first contest threads later on stating that people should use their image overlay tool to photoshop the little girl into other pictures to see where else they had seen her. Needless to say, within hours of the ceremony being over, there were many pictures of this little girl all over the internet.
